June 2022 … I was overweight, depressed, and self-medicating with alcohol. On July 1st I saw a post on FB for a 4-week SmasHIIT challenge at Fit4Life that changed my life. I started the challenge and signed up for Joan’s nutrition plan. Four months later I am off of my anti-depressants, down 29lbs and 10 total inches, and no longer self-medicating. At 51, I am living my best life and plan to get better with age! I am looking forward to helping others in their journey to becoming fit and healthy and living their best life ever!

I reached out to Joan about losing weight.  She set me up with a nutritional plan to start me on my journey.  Then I asked about Modere.  I started my journey on Modere in July of 2021 and with the help of Modere and using my nutritional plan the weight started to come off.  Before getting set up with Joan and my nutritional plan and Modere I had a hard time losing weight.  I had tried many different plans and none of them worked.   If they did I plateaued and could not get to where I wanted to be.  I walk and am active with my granddaughters.  I have 4 of them that keep me and my husband very busy.

Since losing around 46 lbs I am off my blood pressure meds as well as my metformin.  I took Metformin for PCOS which is Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome to which my Blood Sugar would drop after lunch and I would have a hard time staying awake in the afternoon.

I am now free of those meds and have Joan to thank for that.  Thank you for all of your help.  I am glad I was able to achieve my goal and will continue to keep going to see where I end up.

Ever think you aren’t seeing results?

Ya’ll! Take the pictures! The scale isn’t proof of your success! The first picture I was working out the same amount I am now. I was eating pretty healthy.

The difference? I cleaned up my nutrition! I quit drinking alcohol (very rare). Supplements consistently. And I didn’t give up and throw in the towel when the results weren’t “quick enough”!

Be proud of the results! Slow or fast! đź‘Źđź‘Źđź‘Ź

Before and After

I am so happy to see results in my daily regimen in staying healthy and looking healthy.  With dealing with thinning hair, skin issues, and osteoporosis I started taking liquid biocell collagen LIFE to start replacing lost collagen in my body that we start losing as early as in our 20s.  What a difference it is making. Have been on it for about 7 months.  You can make a difference in Your health too.

Not only do I use the liquid collagen but I also eat healthy.  Not saying I never eat junk food cause I do but with my walking at least 6 to 6.5 miles five times a week I can afford to eat junk once in a while.

Hit Joan Wagner up.  She will definitely get you on the right track to being healthy.  Do it for yourself.  You won’t regret it.

I met Joan Wagner nearly 4 years ago. I was struggling to find a healthy lifestyle! I wanted it badly but everything, everything I tried wasn’t working. Work, family, others seemed to always be my excuse not to take care of me! It took a health scare to wake me up! If I didn’t take care of me how could I work, be with my family and help others? I had to make me a priority because I loved my family, work and helping others. Joan is always in my back pocket, literally and figuratively. A phone call or text away helping me stay on track. Recently, I purchased a DNA kit and it has kicked started my journey and really dialed in my unique nutrition and activity needs. I FEEL good! My clothes fit better and no more guessing what to eat, when to eat but what shouldn’t I eat and why! Thank you Joan for helping me on my healthy lifestyle journey!

It was 3 years ago when I first met Joan. Her knowledge and nutritional information that I heard that day made total sense, however I had just changed jobs that had me totally stressed out and my son was a senior and getting ready to head off to college so there were a lot of changes happening already that were causing me great anxiety so focusing on me and my health was not a priority. Fast forward past all of those excuses to 4 months ago when I reached back out to Joan because I was simply tired of being tired and the things she had said 3 yrs earlier were still resonating with me. I had followed her on FB and watched her continue to not only talk the talk, but walk the walk with whomever would commit to themselves and push past the excuses. I had lost myself in the chaos of life and was feeling awful. Joan and I “talked” all via message and email and worked on a nutritional plan designed for me. She would message me and check in and always seemed to send those little words of encouragement right when I needed them. I have now lost 50 lbs, down 4 pant sizes, gained muscle, my night leg cramps are gone, I am sleeping so much better and my energy level is incredible.
Even through the closing of my regular gym due to coronavirus I have maintained my cardio workouts, started Joan’s online workouts and taking advantage of great recipes from her online cooking class. Thank you Joan for walking along side
of me for the last 4 months, educating me, (I eat real food, 5 times a day. I use to skip breakfast and now I can’t wait for breakfast to fuel my body), introducing me to ID Life supplements and encouraging me and pushing me to keep focused on being the best, healthiest me I can be. Set YOUR goals, throw out the excuses(its called life????)and wake up each day with the mindset to be the best and healthiest you, that you can be. ????????. I look forward to crushing my next goal! Thank you Joan for your passion to help others and your continued encouragement!!

Said questions were asked in 2017…while I had completely forgotten about these questions, I still stand next to my answers 110%.

It’s just too good to not share.
**also, today marks 5 years since hitting my first goal of -10lbs

Back in 2015, I apparently had a very good mind set. Not that I don’t today, but prior to my journey, I was a sourpuss. Last month I was asked a few, good random questions, and they’ve been dancing in my head ever since. And it’s a lot easier to put up these pictures, sit back and reflect than it is to answer the question head on. This way, I’m able to go back in time, and relive what and how I felt, yes I feel extremely vulnerable that way but a part of me hopes that someone reading this will feel like I’m taIking to them, and give them the courage they need to take the first step forward in a better, healthier direction.

So the first question was-
“What’s your least favorite exercise?’
‘I don’t think I have one…’
‘That’s my goal! To not hate exercise!’
I chuckled. But really, as much as I groan and complain, I’m honestly ok with doing anything and everything because I can… Now, if you would have asked me that two years ago? My response would have been, ‘burpees, cardio, running especially! Some weights… interval training, like tabata…’
Why? Because 160lb Ashlee couldn’t do any of that without getting winded. Down 10lbs felt great, but even climbing stairs still had me winded. Running for 3 solid minutes left me gasping for air. But… after every class I took, I felt better than when I first walked in. Something seemed magical about that place called Fit4Life.

“What was your goal when you started running?”
Uh, to run? I never had a goal in mind, I just remember thinking how cool it would be to say I did a 5k… A. 5k. Singular. Two years later I’m anxiously wanting to do another half marathon and a full. Why running? Maybe because in elementary school, I always finished in the last 5 when we had to run for the physical fitness test (remember that??) Or maybe because I so envied the people that would be running, while I drove by them. Once the weather got nice, and even when out was cold, you’d see these people, running, setting aside time in the day for themselves, to run. Were they training for an upcoming race? Was this their “me” time? Did they need to relieve some stress? Or just doing it because? Whatever the reason, I was always jealous… especially of the girls. Each one I drove by was so fit, and in they’re some, bettering themselves for whatever reason or another. This wasn’t a scheduled class they attended, by they chose to lace up their shoes, put on the music, and go. So much discipline. That’s what I was jealous of. I wanted so badly to be that. Fit. Discipline. Just me, my music, and road. No time frame. No set distance… and two years later, here I am, running 6 miles because I can.

It’s amazing what you can do, if you really want something… and as for a time frame? Start today. Start now. The next 3 months are going to pass. Make yourself a priority. It’s almost May. We’re almost 5 months into the year, what did you say you were going to do starting the new year? Have you? Why not? Life isn’t a movie, you can’t hit pause, and time waits for no one. So take that first step forward today.
If that step is towards a better, healthier, happier you, I’d love to offer you two free weeks at Fit4Life. If you just want more energy to get through the day, let’s chat. You just have to take the first step forward. What do you have to lose?

Sorry for the long post, kudos if you read it all. Sometimes I just feel the need to rant. Mainly to get something off my chest but also to inspire others. I felt so alone in the beginning on my journey, and I want others to know, you’re not alone. I always love hearing how far others have come, even the smallest of accomplishments, how excited they get when they’re down 5lb, or ran a half mile straight, for the first time ever. The joy in their voice, so sincere. I love it, it’s something that can’t be mimicked. ????

Three years ago I was approaching retirement. I had some issues with my shoulders and feet so I stopped working out. I was a true couch potato. I wasn’t happy with my weight. I was introduced to Fit4Life through a coworker. It was truly a godsend.
I was very impressed by Joan’s compassion and knowledge. She encouraged me to follow a nutrition and supplement plan that is so worth the investment in my health, I love working out in the gym, I am a yearly member and hope to be a lifelong member. I feel amazing I have lost 21 pounds and toned up. I have so much more energy. I am 68 but I feel 38. Thank you Joan Wagner and everyone at Fit4Life for everything.

TESTIMONIAL AMY & RACHEL BORES

TESTIMONIAL AMY & RACHEL BORES

Well today I feel that I need to post this new testimonial! We had success today with our daughter Rachel, who had had Type 1 Diabetes for 14 years! For anyone who is familiar with Diabetes, either Type 1 or 2, there is NO perfect fix. We can try to do all thing perfect and still end up with wacky numbers and feeling crummy. Rachel is dependent on Insulin at this point for the rest of her life. We try to follow a healthy diet but she still requires carbohydrates in her diet to maintain optimal glucose readings and avoid dangerous lows. We have had many days with highs and lows that have left us baffled and exhausted. Enter JOAN WAGNER! Our warrior leader and friend has helped both Rachel and I to get much closer to our goals. Today we met with her Endocrinologist in Sandusky and we were pleasantly surprised to see that her A1C has come down from 8.6 at her last visit to a 7.4 today!!! We are getting closer to optimal numbers and with Joan’s help we will get there. Rachel and I both have very different plans, but Joan was willing to take on the challenge of helping Rachel achieve her health and wellness goals. As a mother, I am ever so grateful to our dear friend Joan Wagner to have taken the time to help my daughter feel better inside and out, and to believe that she can take charge of her health but is not in it alone. Fit 4 Life has been an amazing support system for both of us and I thank the Lord that we have been blessed to have found such a caring and devoted group of friends that will help her reach her goals all while living and maintaining a healthy lifestyle! Sorry this is so very long, but I needed to give credit where it was due
